Thank you for your interest in membership in the Ithaca Yacht Club. As you can see from our web site, the Yacht Club offers activities for all ages, superb facilities and unparalleled access to our beautiful Cayuga Lake. What cannot be conveyed is the unique relationship each member has with the Club. Most members do not have a "big boat" in the marina; many simply enjoy relaxing by the waterfront, and unwinding in the natural beauty and peacefulness of the lake. Others enjoy swimming, small craft boating, youth activities, and quality time with family and friends. These are just a few of the many things you may enjoy at the Yacht Club. Consider making the Ithaca Yacht Club your "cottage on the lake".

Location

The Ithaca Yacht Club is located 3 miles north of Cass Park on the west shore of Cayuga Lake.

Club Facilities

The club is proud of its extensive, well kept facilities. Members of the club have unlimited access to:

• Pub and dining room overlooking the lake
• Casual waterfront dining on the deck or covered patio
• Private meeting, banquet and wedding facilities
• Picnic and barbeque areas
• Youth activity building and playground
• Supervised swimming area
• Showers and locker rooms
• Seasonal and transient docking and mooring facilities
• Hoists, boat launching ramp and shore cradles

Club Activities

The Ithaca Yacht Club is more than just a great location. It also offer its members a wide variety of activities and services, entertainment and organized events:

• Holiday Barbecues and Special Events
• Youth sailing and racing program
• TGIF's with dining and dancing to live entertainment
• Sail our fleet of small 15-foot boats (JY-15's)
• Keep your small sailing boat on dollies in our Small Boat Park

Membership Dues

The Dues for Membership are $1,395.36 (includes 8% tax) per year. There is no food and beverage minimum nor any history of special assessments. An initiation fee equal to the annual dues ($1,395.36) is due upon membership. The fee may be paid as a lump sum or in three annual payments of 40%, 40% and 20%. For the 2009 season the initiation fee may be waived, however, the member will not hold an equity stake in the Club until they have been a member in good standing for seven consecutive years. Membership in the Ithaca Yacht Club will provide you with the highest return on your leisure time dollar. You and your family will truly grow to love your "cottage on the lake".
