CHILD PARTICIPATION IN INTERCLUB REGATTAS:

If you would like your child to take part in these fun regattas, please let Charley Williamson or Trevor French know as soon as possible.
Transport of kids is generally done by parents, so let us know very soon whether you can help.
Kids need to take food with them for lunch and on-water drinks.
We will send at least one Instructor, along with volunteer parents, as a part of the IYC Team !
The Instructor will take extra boats, if not available to borrow from the host club, and if not taken by parents

OPTIMISTS
Regattas occur mostly on WEDNESDAYS, except as noted. We take our IYC Opties or personal Opties to the regattas ourselves. (They can go on the Club Trailer, or on your own vehicles as possible.) Parents who are able to volunteer to transport kids - please let us know as soon as possible.

* Sodus Bay YC - Centrals NY Regatta (CNYSA)
This is held over the weekend. 420's, Lasers, Opties are a component of this event. Opties race only on the Saturday. Parents are responsible for attending this regatta, but possibly we can coordinate a group and coach to this event..

* Rochester YC Junior Olympics (Fri-Sun)
Junior Olympics is a 3-day event. Friday is coaching Clinic and training and fun events. Sat-Sun is a regatta. You can go for just the Friday if you like, and choose whether to do the regatta afterwards. Parents are responsible for attending this regatta, but possibly we can coordinate a group and coach to this event.
