Special thanks to IYC boaters Jeff Spence and Richard and Melissa Stephens for participating in the Ithaca Youth Bureau Big Brothers Big Sisters boating event recently held at IYC on Aug. 23. From all accounts, everyone enjoyed their time on the boats, while discussing everything from how to read the wind on the water to glacial formation of the lake.
We hope to continue this collaboration next year and hope to pick up more participants at both IYB and IYC.
