At the Club

The social life of the club centers on the clubhouse and the grassy area known as The Point.  Members enjoy social activities, have picnics on the lawn, and swim in the lake.

In the clubhouse there is an excellent restaurant and bar.

Boating

The well-equipped marina is equally suitable for motor boats and sail boats.  Smaller boats are stored on land.  The club has a variety of kayaks, paddleboards, and sail boats for members.  The Youth Sailing Program is always popular.

Your Club

The Ithaca Yacht Club is truly your club.  Since 1907, the members have given their time and resources to ensure that the club remains operationally and financially strong.

We encourage all members to reach out to individuals on the board, join the work parties, and help organize individual events.

The Seasons

  • Spring:  In April, work parties prepare the for the season.  The marina and moorings open in May and the restaurant is open on a limited basis.
  • Summer:  From late June through Labor Day, everything is in full swing: the swimming area, music on the weekends, the Youth Sailing Program, and much more.
  • Fall:  After Labor Day, activities slow down, but it is a great time for boating and the evenings are often warm enough to eat on the deck.  Fall work parties prepare for the winter shutdown.
