Overview

The IYC Sailing Program runs two instructional programs. They are open to members and non-members.

Youth Sailing

Adult Sailing

These programs provide instruction for all levels of sailors.  The Youth Sailing program also provides opportunities to learn to race and participate in local regattas.

Future Plans

At the end of 2025, the club established the Ithaca Yacht Club Sailing Program, Inc. to run future instructional programs.  The IYC Sailing Program is applying to be a registered as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charity.

When this registration is complete, we will be looking for donations to expand the program so that we can give more opportunities to sailors of all ages at a moderate price.  If you would like to make a donation please contact the Director of Youth Sailing, YouthSailing@IthacaYC.org.
