The transit slips on the North Docks are for the boats of visitors who are members of other boating and yacht clubs, and boats visiting for regattas and other events.
These slips are for short-term visits only. Eight slips of up to 70' length are available for visitors.
Club members may use these slips as often as they like during daytime hours.
Overnight Use of the Transit Slips
For all visiting boats, the first two nights are free, and subsequent nights, up to a total of five per season, are charged at $2/ft.
If you plan to use a transit slip overnight, please send email to the Harbormaster several days before arrival.
Because the docks are exposed to strong winds from the north, be careful when leaving boats unattended overnight.
Visitors from Other Clubs
The Ithaca Yacht Club welcomes boats belonging to members of other boating and yacht clubs, when they visit from outside the Ithaca area, whether or not the clubs have reciprocal agreements. In addition to using the transit slips, the crew of visiting boats may use the locker rooms, restaurant, and bar. Our liquor license requires non-members to sign in before using the bar.
