The Cayuga Lake Cruising Fleet (CLCF) runs an extensive program of racing for keelboats and multihulls.  Most of the skippers are members of the club, but the races are open to any sailors.

The CLCF schedules races most Sunday afternoons during the season. This includes the summer Latitude Series that is open to any sailors. The fleet also hosts a number of long-distance sailing events including the annual "Red Jacket Race", a 20-mile race (and rally) to a dinner at the Red Jacket Yacht Club on the North end of the lake.
